ABOUT ME

Nicola Kellock Registered Member MBACP

I am a professional qualified and experienced counsellor, working with service personnel and their families; my practice is currently based in Wiltshire.

How do I help? Transactional Analysis is a talking therapy and is the foundation of my counselling practice. It explores an individual’s personality and how this has been shaped by experience and relationships. From my experience as a therapist, I have found TA an extremely powerful way to help you increase your self-awareness by understanding yourself at a deeper level. To move away from negative patterns of behaviour and to grow in confidence to make the positive changes you want in your life.

I have a Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis from the University of Middlesex. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their guidelines and Ethical Framework. As part of the BACP ethical framework I am committed to continuing professional development, which enhances my learning and an independent supervisor regularly assesses my work.

Prior to training as a counsellor I worked with Army families supporting them with all aspects of welfare, relocation, and transition to civilian life. I then had several years working for a mental health and addictions charity and now also run my private practice in the Wiltshire and Salisbury plain area. I provide long- term, short-term face to face, online and telephone counselling for adults and young people.

I offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where I work collaboratively with you ensuring that a positive relationship is forged between us. In this space you know best what to bring and what you want to talk about. I can provide a space where you feel valued and heard.

Currently supporting Military personnel and their families in Wiltshire, London & Surrey.
